Limonada
El Domingo preparamos un puesto de limonada en la playa de Melville. En hora y media vendimos 3litros de liminada y ganamos $40 dolares. Lo mejor fue la preparacion y planeacion del projecto que resulto exitoso. Les encanto vender limonada!

Feliz cumple Clara. Tienes siete años!!!
Clari clara. Te celebramos tu cumpleaños numero siete en el parque. Estuvo demasiado bueno. Tu mama preparo exquisitos cup cakes, sandwiches, fruta y una torta de chocolate con icing de mariposas y flores.
Ademas preparo una serie de juegos que las mantuvieron corriendo desde las 10am. A las 11:30am el papa coordino el treasure hunt esta vez con acertijos para obtener los pistas.
El dia toco demasiado rico. Caluroso y sin viento.
Tienes muy buenas amigas. Todas llegaron con regalos y tarjetas hechas por ellas.

El dia de los muertos y bailes mejicanos
Eldia de los muertos fuimos a ver bailes mejicanos tipicos. La Itzi bailo el baile de la bruja con unos vestidos blancos largos con vuelos. Al final del baile te uniste y bailaste con todo el grupo en el escenario. Demasiado seca!! Despues fuimos a ver el altar de los muertos, que es una costumbre tipica mejicana.
Tambien te vestiste de brujita para hallowin y fuiste a buscar dulces en el barrio xon tus companeras de colegio.

Llego el hada raton Restrepo!
Clara se te callo tu primera paleta. Ahora si que estas tan grande. Le escribiste una carta al raton Recaredo en la que pusiste tu diente, un pedazo de queso y un corazon. Recaredo te dejo en la noche dos dolares.
Al otro lado del mundo a tu prima Fiore tambien se le cayo la paleta. Que coincidencia. Son totalmente contemporaneas.

Vimos a las flores de la primavera en el kings park festival este domingo. Estuvo increible. Tambien comimos helado artesanal.

Frisbie en Melville Beach con Tom
El viernes llegue temprano y salimos a caminar a la playa de Melville. Lleve el frisbie y jugamos a lanzarlo. Tomas no cabia de felicidad viendo volar el disco. Estas demasiado buena para atrapar y lanzar el frisbie

Paseando en Fremantle
Mientras la mama con la Gracia fueron a un cumpleaños de fairy en Fremantle. Nosotros paseamos por Freo con Tomas. Lo pasamos chancho. Corrimos cerro arriba donde esta el monumento de ANZAC. Tomas reia como loco. En la tarde fuimos todos a la playa. Aunque tu no querias. Al final no te querias volver porque te encanta la playa, incluso en "invierno"

Seca para las matematicas
Clara. Miss Salzman nos envio una nota de felicitaciones por tu esfuerzo y dedicacion en matematicas. Has estado estudiando mucho con marth buddy, el programa online de matematicas del colegio. Has aprendido a sumar y restar y aplicar esos conceptos en el dia a dia. Por ejemplo sabes cuanto pagar y pedir de vuelto. Tambien reconoces figuras geometricas simples y compuestas muy facilmente.
Eres demasiado seca.

Playground tour en Margaret River
Clara pasamos por este restaurant y tuvimos que pasar a jugar en su playground. Creo que es uno de los playgrounds mas bonito que hemos visto. Tambien caminos al rededor de una laguna. Quedaron todas embarradas porque habia barro en el pasto. Corriste por el borde como una atleta.

La Pincoya. A myth from Chiloe Island in Chile
Once upon a time there were two
girls called Clara and Gracia who lived in the island of Chiloé, in the south of Chile. Their Dad was
a fisherman and he was worried because there weren´t enough fish for him to
catch. Every day, early in the morning, he would go fishing in his boat, but
returned with his net almost empty.
One day, at dinner time, Clara
and Gracia´s mum said If there is not enough fish for fishermen to catch is
because Pincoya may be upset or sad.
Who is Pincoya? Asked Clara and
Gracia.
Their dad explained them, Pincoya
is the sea princess; she decides how many fish are available for the fishermen
to catch. She likes to dance on the beach in the moonlight, if she dances
facing the land there will be not much fish, but if she dances facing the sea,
this means there will be lots of fish to catch. And be aware of where she
steps, because on her footprints there will be clams to collect the next
morning.
Clara and Gracia asked, what can
we do to make Pincoya dance facing the sea and bring more fish?
Their mum replied, Pincoya loves
music, so we have to go to the sea and
sing to make her happy again.
The next morning, the girls and
their parents got on dads
wooden boat and
sailed to sea. While they sailed and sang beautiful songs while Dad
played his guitar. In the bottom of the sea, Pincoya listened to the music and
smiled.
That night, Clara said ‘let’s go
to the beach and see if we can see Pincoya dance”
The family put on their warm
jackets and walked to the beach on their tip toes. The moon was shining bright
in the sky and they decided to hide behind a giant rock.
They waited and waited, until
suddenly they saw a beautiful woman coming out of the water. She had long hair
and was wearing a dress made of seaweed.
Clara and Gracia could not
believe what their eyes. ‘Pincoya’ whispered Clara. Shhh her parents said.
Pincoya started dancing, and she
was facing the sea.
After some time, Pincoya splashed
in the sea and disappeared. Clara and her family went back home, had hot
chocolate and went to bed.
The next morning, Clara’s Dad went fishing very early and Clara woke up Gracia and her mum to go to the beach and see if there were any clams to collect. They were surprised to see that were Pincoya had danced there were lots of clams buried in the sand, and they filled a bucket with them. When they finished, they saw Dad coming back in his boat, with his nets full of shiny fish.
The whole family was happy to have delicious seafood to eat.

The Pincoya Myth
Chiloé is an island in South Chile known for its rich mythology. Pincoya personifies the fertility of marine species. Through her ritual dance she provides the chilote (residents of Chiloé) with an abundance or deficiency of fish and seafood. If she performs her dance facing the sea, it means that these shores will have an abundance of fish. When she dances facing the mountains, her back to the sea, seafood will be scarce. Chilote mythology is appreciative of the Pincoya, believed to be good, beautiful and humanitarian. According to other legends, Pincoya is the daughter of Millalobo (king of sea, in chilote mythology) and the human Huenchula. Her sister is the Sirena chilota (a type of Mermaid) and her brother is Pincoy (who also is depicted as her husband in other stories). The three siblings lead and guide the drowned sailors onto a large phantom ship, the Caleuche. Accocrding to the myth, once on board, the dead can resume an existence as if they were alive again, (source: wikipedia)

Mobile farm
Despues de plantar arboles fuimos a comer helados. Habia una granja para ver y hacerle cariño a animales. Habia obejas, alpacas, gallinas, conejos, chanchos, patos, gallinas, y hamsters.

El ultimo viernes de vacaciones fuimos a plantar arboles a una reserva al sur de Perth. Lo pasamos increible. Best day of the holidays decias. Habia una granja con animales y los podian tocar.
